Afrika, uzun yıllar boyunca teknoloji alanında geri kalmış gibi algılansa da son yıllarda bu tablo hızla değişiyor. Kıtadaki girişimcilik ruhu, yenilikçi çözümler ve dijital dönüşüm hamleleri, Afrika’yı küresel teknoloji ekosisteminin önemli bir oyuncusu haline getiriyor. Teknolojinin bu hızlı yükselişi, internet erişiminin genişletilmesi, genç nüfusun girişimciliğe yönelmesi ve uluslararası yatırımcıların kıtaya ilgisinin artmasıyla daha da ivme kazanıyor. Bien que l'Afrique ait été perçue comme étant à la traîne en matière de technologie pendant de nombreuses années, cette image évolue rapidement depuis quelques années.
